Ayu Sweet Fish Fishing Open Period - early June

Miyama’s Ayu Sweet Fish is well known for its savory flavor which is grown in pristine water of Yura River, the source of which is in the Ashiu Forest.
A lot of fishermen come here from all over Japan during this period.
Before you enjoy fishing, you need to purchase the fishing ticket. Visit Miyama Town Fishery Union Office (next to the Roadside Station) or other shops to buy the ticket.

*Please take your rubbish home with you.
*Please change your clothes in an out-of-sight places.
