STAY

NIPPONIA Miyama Tsurugaoka Mountain Village TSUNAGU

Experience the ultimate rural life

“NIPPONIA Miyama Tsurugaoka Mountain Village”
This property breathes new life into old traditional Japanese houses that have become vacant in the Tsurugaoka area, creating a comfortable space that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly new.

Tsurugaoka in Miyama is an isolated and remote area that embodies the ultimate rural landscape. By staying at NIPPONIA, we hope that visitors and locals alike will feel like they are returning to their hometown, discover the richness of life here, and share this feeling. Our goal is to provide a place where such meaningful encounters can occur.

As the property is located in a rural, nature-rich mountainous area, we take measures to control pests. However, various insects may occasionally enter the premises. Additionally, wild animals such as deer and boar are nearby. We hope you view this as an opportunity to experience this area's rich natural environment and lifestyle.
3. There is no available convenience store.
The building is in a rural area surrounded by mountains, so no convenience store is nearby. You can buy the necessary stuff at the front desk, "Tanasen."
4. About the Renovation
This facility has been restored to preserve as much of the original charm and character as possible from when it was built. Therefore, insulation, airtightness, and soundproofing may not meet modern standards.
5. Smoking Policy
All buildings, including the gardens, are strictly non-smoking. There are no designated smoking areas available. As the buildings are renovated wooden structures of traditional Japanese houses, smoking is prohibited in all areas. We kindly ask for your understanding.
