Snow Festival, originally scheduled for 11th February 2025, has been canceled due to insufficient snowfall.
The snow festival is held on 11th of February at the sports ground of Miyama Nature & Culture Village Kajikaso Inn which is 3 min drive from Miyama Thatched Village. There is a snow sculpture contest, a big snow slide and a snow sports contest. There are also various food stalls.
