ETC-Only Toll Gate Information (Kyoto Jukan Expressway: Sonobe IC)
Sonobe IC, the nearest interchange to Miyama on the Kyoto Jukan Expressway, has been an ETC-only toll gate since 15th October 2025.
If your vehicle is not equipped with an ETC device, please use one of the following interchanges:
・From Kyoto City: Yagi-Nishi IC (approximately 50 minutes by car to Miyama's Thatched Village)
・From Amanohashidate / Maizuru: Kyotamba-Wachi IC (approximately 45 minutes by car to Miyama's Thatched Village)
