Learn how to make cheese from Miyama Milk!

If you are a lover of cheese, would you like to learn how to make cheese by hands?

In this workshop, you will experience making mozzarella and string cheese from Miyama Milk.  A professional cheesemaker will teach you  ingredients and details of cheese making process including the gestures.  And, at the end of the workshop, you can take home freshly handmade cheese. 

Workshop Programme

1.Preparation and briefing  
① Wear working clothes (white wear) (Jacket, pants and net hat) 
② Hand washing and disinfection (alcohol disinfection)
③ Explanation of ingredients of cheese
④ Briefing of cheese making experience

2.Cheese Making Experience
① Dip cheese curds into 85℃ hot water and knead them to make cheese
② Making 2 pieces of mozzarella cheese (each 100g)
③ Making string cheeses (80g) 
④ Vacuum pack completed cheese in plastic bag.

3.Take home your handmade cheese
 2 bags of mozzarella cheese and 1 bag of sring cheese 

※ Cooler bags will be provided but we recommend you to bring cooler box during summer or if you need to keep them cool for longer time.
