Chii Hachiman Shrine
Chii Hachiman Shrine is the main shrine of 9 villages in the Chii District. Its annual festival is held in October. In the festival, ancient Japanese court music is dedicated and the parade of the portable shrine carried by villagers go around the Thatched Village. The precinct of this shrine is designated as the heritage site by Kyoto Prefecture. Also, the main shrine is designated as the Kyoto Prefectural Cultural Property.
