About the Renovation This facility has been restored to preserve as much of the original charm and character from the time it was built as possible. Therefore, insulation, airtightness, and soundproofing may not meet modern standards. 6. Smoking Policy All buildings, including the gardens, are strictly non-smoking. There are no designated smoking areas available. As the buildings are renovated wooden structures of traditional Japanese houses, smoking is prohibited in all areas.
