"MIZUOTO" is a whole house rental stay in a traditional house. Upon entering the entrance, you can look up and see the structure of the thatched roof attic. In Miyama, where there are no train tracks, but you'll find a unique fusuma (sliding door) painting depicting a locomotive and a thatched-roof house, reflecting the playful spirit of the house's former owner. The tiled irori (traditional hearth) is paired with an old-fashioned paulownia chest, creating a cozy table.

As the building is located in a rural area, which is surrounded by mountains, there is no convenience store around it. You can buy the necessary stuffs at the frontdesk "Tanasen." 5. About the Renovation This facility has been restored to preserve as much of the original charm and character from the time it was built as possible. Therefore, insulation, airtightness, and soundproofing may not meet modern standards. 6. Smoking Policy All buildings, including the gardens, are strictly non-smoking. There are no designated smoking areas available. As the buildings are renovated wooden structures of traditional Japanese houses, smoking is prohibited in all areas. We kindly ask for your understanding. |
