Snow Lantern Festival in Miyama's Thatched Village

Snow lantern festival at Thatched Village is held annually in snowy season. Handmade snow lanterns and electric lights as well as illuminations of thatched roof houses make fantastic and nostalgic scenery of the village covered by white snow. Fireworks will be held on 31st January and 3rd Feburuary from 6:30pm.

Car parking requires prior reservation for all types of vehicles.
Please make sure to make prior reservation before you come.

FEE: JPY1,000/ per a normal car.
RESERVATION DEADLINE: Until 23:59 the day before your visit
*Reservation will be closed as soon as parking spaces are full.
CAPACITY: 80 cars
*There is no nearby car parking. Parking on the street or on private property is prohibited.

PRICE：JPY100 for snow lantern making kit.(a candle, backet and mini shovel.)
